They participated on the "Teutonic Invasion Part I" sampler LP from Roadrunner in 1987. Unfortunately to be on this sampler meant for each band to sign a contract with Roadrunner not being allowed to sign any other contract with any other company within a 12-month period and Roadrunner could decide to sign them within this time frame. That lamed Poison completely. After around 6 months of waiting and rehearsing only, they split up. Poison would've not been signed even if they still have had existed. Only Violent Force and Paradox received an offer from Roadrunner after that Sampler LP.
